kerry ferris is a long-standing London artist whose work engages issues relevant to both the local and the global community. Additive Colour is from a series of small collage works that take as their starting point the idea of “the book” – both allegorically in terms of the symbology and narrative structures embedded in the concept of the book, and materially as an object with certain physical properties.
