A cool mix of people made the scene and gave an amazing performance, whether as patron, sponsor, artist, collector, volunteer, or performer (and many wore many hats). We made a red carpet splash in Old East Village with the #WePlayOn Musicians entertaining the arriving crowd and passersby. The stage performance brought a multi-media operatic dimension to Unity Project’s story – it left us breathless!
This year’s My Life in Colour Award honoured Jeremy Jeresky and the New School of Colour, as Unity Project’s most inspirational, influential and artful person of 2015. There was not a not-amazing work of art in the show! Every work – 74 pieces in total SOLD – helped us achieve $30,000 in art sales and topping last year by almost $4,000!
Thank you all for helping raise some $45,000 (net proceeds) for Unity Project for Relief of Homelessness and the men, women and youth who benefit from our life skills programming.
