Adam Giroux is a primarily self-taught artist born in Windsor, Ontario currently living and working in London, Ontario. Giroux’s work explores the boundaries of identity and our obsession with self-improvement. His oil paintings of realistic, cryptic figures surrounded by symbolic objects and bold contrasting imagery are all used as metaphors of his perspective on life moving in parallel with his career. His approach to his work in both fields is that of perpetual momentum and creative expression fuelled by hard work and dedication to his craft. His most recent exhibition was a solo show at Gallery House in Toronto.
