Bio:
Adam Giroux is a self-taught artist who explores the boundaries of identity and the obsession with self-improvement. His work often features haunting portraits of cryptic characters which elaborate on the themes of restraint and growth. Giroux recently completed a 2-week exhibition (entitled Callow) at The Arts Project earlier this month.
Statement:
As individuals, we expect others to view us in sometimes unrealistic ways. An Identity is meant to represent the struggle we all face with defining ourselves and the steps we take to improve if we are not satisfied.
