Andrew Lewis is an internationally recognized Canadian graphic artist with work included in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, French National Library, and the Permanent Collection of the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.
My work explores the relationship between acquired synesthesia and Montmartre cafes. With influences as diverse as Caravaggio and Don Draper, new synergies are created from both traditional and modern discourse. Ever since I was a student I have been fascinated by the endless oscillation of the human condition. What starts out as vision soon becomes manipulated into a carnival of power, leaving only a sense of failing and the inevitability of a new beginning.
