“Rhino Café at the Museum provides the setting for what’s sure to be a lively discussion about art, culture, politics and community with the ever-generous artists Ron Benner and Jamelie Hassan. Two are welcome to enjoy a guided tour by Ron Benner of his works including In Digestion and his garden installation, As the Crow Flies, while Jamelie Hassan will discuss her own work, The Hong Kong, for Dave & Lucy in Visible Storage, an exhibition of the Museum’s permanent collection.
A Rhino Café Gift certificate and a basket containing a collection of souvenirs and publications of the artists’ works are included.

Jamelie Hassan
Jamelie Hassan is an artist and activist who is based in London, Ontario. Her work has toured nationally and internationally and is included in numerous public and private collections.
Ron Benner
Ron Benner was born in London, Ontario. Since the late 1970’s Benner has been producing mixed media photographic installations concerned with issues surrounding the material culture of food. Public exhibitions national and international including National Gallery of Canada, Art Gallery of Ontario, Casa De Las Americas, Havana, Cuba, McIntosh Gallery, UWO. and Museum London.
