Daumante Stirbyte is a ceramics artist who is fascinated with the natural world and the unusual creatures with whom we share the planet with. Her research often delves into deep sea exploration, microscopic close ups of plant and animal word – things that often go by unseen or unnoticed. Blurring the lines between reality and fantasy, her work suggests the eerie possibility of life forms that we are not aware of.
