Statement:
I met Robbin Yager in the late 1980’s in Vancouver when we were both making prints on Granville Island. She had studied at ACAD in Calgary; I had recently come from the Northwest Territories (the area that is now Nunavut). I was captivated by her coloured etchings; printed from one plate. She would ‘wipe in’ the multiple colours, one by one. We traded prints and I have treasured this one ever since.
She has been an active artist in Western Canada since then, and her work is included in numerous collections, including:
