Biography:
The daughter of a hobby artist, Maggie Sue set aside an early interest in painting to work and raise a family. Recently drawn back to the arts through poetry, she re-connected with the visual arts at the New School of Colour. She continues to publish poetry and show art in local exhibitions.
Statement:
Maggie Sue finds art to be a great, safe form of expression, relaxing, fulfilling, and rewarding. “Faces in the Dark” explores the relationship between visibility and invisibility. Maggie Sue believes all art pieces are masterpieces.

Just how creative one can be.
Imagination, TLC, whatever will we see?
Black, red, maybe some white
A little imagination, it’ll be alright
A form of expression one might say
In my opinion, it is the better way
