Statement
We purchased these two works, Happy Man and Happy Woman, when Jack was moving to New Orleans to start a new life with his new partner. They occupied one wall until a recent re-decoration and a re-hang of our collection. We were somewhat sad to see them go but are happy with the recently acquired residents in those spots on our wall. They were bright spots in our living room, the ever optimistic smiles got us through a few winters.
Jack Niven is a Canadian born artist now based out of New Orleans. Niven holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts in painting from the Alberta College of Art and has shown work across North America.
