Born in Toronto in Dec of 1954; came to London in the early 1970s to study design and fine art at Fanshawe College; graduated in 1980 with a diploma in Fine Art – Painting. My attitude towards art making is definitely more intuitive than intellectual. The paintings often portray a rural narrative and are definitely working class in attitude. It is regional and hopeful that the idea of local is universal. I am now a vetern of my form and one who keeps finding excuses to make paintings.
