Bio:
John Osborne is a multi-media artist who has shown across Canada in various group and solo shows. Yearbook and archived portraits often form the origin of many of his works. The relationship between pure abstraction and realism of any given image is a common theme for much of his investigations. This work was created by manipulating blank pieces of photographic slides by adding ink or scratching into film emulsion and then reproducing the result as a colour photograph.
