Statement:
The Map/Brain drawing was created by Curnoe to illustrate how the brain of the Canadian art student was being educated. Greg Curnoe had used this image for his 1981 retrospective exhibition at the National Gallery of Canada and the London Regional Art Gallery (Museum London). It was taken from the bottom half of a drawing titled It Was Perfectly Normal, 3 March 1980.
