Bio:
Trevor McNaughton is founding member of Unity Project for Relief of Homelessness, where he continues to work as the Frontline Team Lead. He is an amateur astronomer/astrophotographer and autodidact of the subject; one that demands artistic appeal, procedural proficiencies, and scientific curiosity. Or, in his own words, ”I’m a self taught geek who finds excuses to stay up late standing in a field looking up!”
Statement:
Taken with a Canon 6D and a 24mm lens at F/4, mounted to a german equatorial mount, exposed the Milky way with a 5 min exposure. Fingal Ontario is home to the best dark sky preservation initiative in Southwestern Ontario thanks to the efforts of the Royal Astronomer’s Society of Canada.
