Donnie-Ray – is a permanent resident to Canada from the US. He has been active in the London art scene since moving here in 2011. Professionally he works as a marketer and graphic designer but art has been a life-long passion and pursuit.
“I became aware of George’s work at the 2014 Up With Art event. His computer parts sculpture was provocative, and I thought it would work well with my similar interests in sculptural work and metallics.”
George Wallace – New School of Colour artist, moved to London in 2001.
“I moved around a bit when I first moved to London and ended up homeless… bouncing between ‘the Sally’ and the Mission. I finally got back on my feet, and I now live in my own apartment, which I’ve had for over 10 years. The New School of Colour has been a safe zone for me to be myself without people telling me what’s wrong with me. When I’m there I feel happy.”
