Bio:
Monica Lindenfield was born and raised in small town Exeter, Ontario. Living under her grandmother’s strict thumb, she dreamed of city life and moved to London at the age of 23. The city brought unexpected challenges and addiction got the better of her. Monica spent six years on the streets before becoming a resident of Unity Project. While at Unity she discovered the New School of Colour and her talent for abstract painting. The euphoria Monica gets from painting gave her reason and means to battle addiction. She has been clean and stable in a home of her own for almost three years. 2015 marks the fourth year of Monica Lindenfield’s participation in UPwithART.
