Matthew Trueman is a London based woodcut printmaker and photographer. He studied Engineering at Fanshawe College and then Visual Arts at Western University. He currently operates a studio practice in addition to working at Museum London.
Louis LaButte is born and raised in St. John’s, New Brunswick. He has been a devoted participant in New School of Colour since arriving in London in 2012. When he first started making art, he was reliant on tracing, but soon began drawing and painting freehand with the guidance of Jeremy Jeresky. Louis enjoys drawing and painting landscapes. Using his imagination about what land could be like, using memories of New Brunswick or photographs in a magazine.
