Sky Glabush lives and works in London, Ontario, where he teaches at Western University. He holds a BFA from the University of Saskatchewan and an MFA from the University of Alberta. Glabush has had recent exhibitions at MKG127 (Toronto), Galerie de l’UQAM (Montreal), Thames Art Gallery (London) and the Art Gallery of Windsor. His work is in many public collections including the Canada Council Art Bank (Ottawa), Museum London, Mendel Art Gallery (Saskatoon) and the Bank of Montreal.
Additive Colour is from a series of small collage works that take as their starting point the idea of “the book” – both allegorically in terms of the symbology and narrative structures embedded in the concept of the book, and materially as an object with certain physical properties.
