Artist Bio:
Alice Reed has established herself as a respected watercolourist. She was born in Toronto and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick. Alice’s watercolours are a celebration of nature. An environmentalist at heart, she paints to communicate her deep-felt love for the rich diversity of nature and to draw others to see, appreciate, respect, and protect it. Her landscape interpretations explore the relationships of light and atmosphere, form and color. Her work is found in collections such as the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and the Owen’s Art Gallery.
