Statement:
Ed Pien is a Toronto based artist who has exhibited nationally and internationally. Immigrating to Canada from Taiwan at the age of 11, Pien went on to complete his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Western University and his Master of Fine Arts from York University. His work consists largely of drawings, and he deals with a variety of themes from violence to play. Pien currently teaches at the University of Toronto.
