Donna Andreychuk a self-taught artist who has been painting professionally for many years. Her work can be found in private collections worldwide. Her main interest is in the Canadian landscape, with plein air painting playing an integral part in her working process. Her work leans towards abstraction and borrows from other painting traditions. Many of her works are ornamental and appear to blend impressionism with hints of Canadian and Scandinavian landscape styles. Her studio space is in the heart of her hometown village of Delaware Ontario, just south of London, where she lives with her husband Richard. They are the proud parents of three grown sons and recently first-time grandparents. Donna is a long time member of the Lambeth Art Association and is represented by Westland Gallery, London; Canvas Gallery, Toronto; Edgewater Gallery, Middlebury Vermont, USA
Description/ Statement:
Painting with the Heap 14×14 Oil on Canvas. A group of six of us have traveled together over the years and this painting was painted during time spent with this special group. When we traveled together we would always try to stay together in one “heap” This painting is about my relationship with what matters most, friends, family, and my landscape.
